Siegfried Mends

Siegfried manages the Adelaide Office of the firm and practices in both civil and criminal law.

He is a dedicated and experienced lawyer committed to providing comprehensive legal solutions with a focus on professionalism, integrity, and client satisfaction. His passion for the law is evident in his unwavering and tireless commitment to ensuring the best outcomes for clients.

Siegfried was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2015 and is also admitted to the High Court of Australia.

He joined Ajak & Associates in July 2023 with extensive experience from a leading Commercial Law firm in Adelaide and practises principally in:

  • Corporate and Commercial Transactions and Litigation
  • Criminal Law
  • Debt Recovery
  • Wills and Estates
  • Property Law

Prior to commencing his legal career, Siegfried worked as a Tutor and Study Coach in Commercial Law at the University of Adelaide (2011-2016) and as a Lecturer in Commercial Law and Corporate Law at Kaplan Business School (2014-2017). He also taught Law and Ethics at the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Flinders University (2015).

In addition to his legal practice, Siegfried is actively involved in community work and integration of migrants. He is the legal advisor to the African Communities Council of South Australia and coaches football at CBC Old Collegians in the South Australian Collegiate Soccer League, and Sturt Lions in the Junior State League.
