I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communication (Journalism) from the University of Technology, Sydney, 2009.

I hold a Bachelor of laws from La Trobe University, Melbourne, 2015.

I am an Accredited Criminal Law Specialist, Law Institute of Victoria, 2022.

I volunteered at YouthLaw and the La Trobe Law clinic during university.

After university I worked as a Paralegal at Leanne Warren & Associates.

I was admitted to practice as an Australian lawyer in the Supreme Court in 2016.

I then worked as a criminal lawyer at Richard Revill Lawyers.

I have been a solicitor advocate for over six years at Fitzroy Legal Service, and whilst working as a senior lawyer at Fitzroy Legal Service I have managed a varied caseload of summary and indictable files for both private and legally aided clients. I have had carriage of a number of complex indictable files which have included, but are not limited to, client’s charged with aggravated burglary, home invasion, complex fraud matters, child sex offences, trafficking and cultivation of cannabis, perverting the course of justice, intentionally cause serious injury and culpable driving.

I am a solicitor advocate who regularly appears in all Magistrates’ Courts across Victoria, and in pleas, appeals and breach proceedings in the County Court. I am also experienced in preparing and instructing counsel in complex criminal trials in the County Court.

Since 2020, in my spare time I have taught law graduates advocacy and criminal law at Leo Cussen Centre for Law, Melbourne.

I am a passionate defence advocate and always strive to achieve the best possible results for my clients.

I am excited to join Ajak & Associates because it will allow me to continue to work as a solicitor advocate on complex indictable files, utilise my skills as an Accredited Criminal Law Specialist to provide equitable, accessible and high-quality legal services to clients.
